4.25.12 Modifying the Disk Name
This section introduces the procedure for modifying the disk name.
Context
NOTE
You can modify the disk name only when creating a disk group.
Procedure
Step 1
In the navigation tree, click the
Logical
tab.
Step 2
In the navigation tree, select the
Disk Group
node.
Step 3
On the menu bar, choose
Configuration
>
Create Disk Group...
.
The
Create Disk Group
dialog box is displayed, as shown in
Step 4
Select disks that are used for creating a disk group.
The selected disk are moved from the
Available Disks
list to the
Selected Disks
list.
Step 5
Double-click the alias of the disk whose name is to be modified in the
Selected Disks
list.
Step 6
Enter the alias of the disk.
NOTE
l
The disk alias contains letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores.
l
The disk alias can only start with a letter.
Step 7
Click
OK
