Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and
then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the tablet.
4.
Remove the back cover (see
Back cover on page 36
), and then remove the following components:
a.
Tablet battery (see
Tablet battery on page 37
)
b.
Audio/power connector board (see
Audio/power connector board on page 53
)
c.
Docking connector board (see
Docking connecter board on page 54
)
d.
Card reader board (see
Card reader board on page 57
)
Remove the speakers:
1.
Release the speaker cables
(1)
from the retention clips and routing channels built into the
display assembly.
2.
Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws
(2)
that secure the speakers to the display assembly.
3.
Remove the speakers
(3)

Reverse this procedure to install the speakers.
