If

pause

queue,
HPDPS
tries
to
sc
hedule
the
jobs
after
y
ou
restart
the
sp o oler,
but
will
not
b e
able
to
un
til
the
ph
ysical
prin
ters
ha
v
e
registered
with
the
sp o oler.
HPDPS
generates
notication
messages
stating
that
jobs
cannot
b e
sc
heduled.
If
y
ou
pause
the
queue,
HPDPS
do es
not
try
to
sc
hedule
the
jobs
un
til
y
ou
resume
the
queue.
HPDPS
will
not
issue
the
notication
messages
after
y
ou
restart
the
sp o oler
indicating
that
it
cannot
sc
hedule
the
jobs.
Y
ou
can
also
k
eep
the
queue
from
sending
jobs
to
a
particular
ph
ysical
prin
ter
b ecause
of
problems
with
the
ph
ysical
prin
ter.
In
this
case,
disabling
the
ph
ysical
prin
ter
is
a
b etter
solution
than
pausing
the
queue.
This
prev
en
ts
the
ph
ysical
prin
ter
from
accepting
additional
jobs,
but
an
y
jobs
already
sc
heduled
will
nish
prin
ting.
If
the
queue
sends
jobs
to
more
than
one
ph
ysical
prin
ter,
disabling
the
ph
ysical
prin
ter
with
the
problem
allo
ws
the
other
ph
ysical
prin
ters
to
con
tinue
undisturb ed.
