query
for
sup ervisor
information
in

to
notication
messages
that
indicate
a
problem
with
either
the
sup ervisor
or
a

ysical
prin
ter.
Because
the
sup ervisor
con
trols
the
ph
ysical
prin
ter,
problems
with
a
ph
ysical
prin
ter
can
b e
caused

y
problems
with
the
sup ervisor
in
whic
h
the
ph
ysical
prin
ter
resides.
Querying
for
the
State
of
a
Specific
Supervisor
The
v
alue
of
the
non-settable
server-state
sup ervisor
attribute
indicates
the
state
of
the
sup ervisor.

state

sup ervisor

receiv

a
notication
message
ab out
a
problem
in
the
sup ervisor
or
a
message
that
indicates
the
sup ervisor
has
started
to
terminate.
