c On the Data page, set the datastore size to 2 TiB and click Next.
d Select the Join Existing Volume Collection option and select
<<vcenter_mgmt_cluster_name>>-Volume-Collection.
e On the Scheduler tab, click Finish.
Note The volumes created in this step are to be presented only to the management servers. The
solution does not support presenting these volumes to the compute servers.
Migrate the Virtual Machines on the Management Hosts to Shared Storage
The next task is to move the <<vcenter_vm_name>>, <<vcenter_psc_vm_name>>, and <<mgmt_vm_name>>
to the Nimble Storage array.
Procedure
1 Using a web browser, log in to the VMware vSphere Web Client.
2 From the Home tab, click Hosts and Clusters.
3 Expand <<vcenter_dc_name>> > <<vcenter_mgmt_cluster_name>> in the left pane.
4 Right-click <<mgmt_vm_name>> and click Migrate.
5 Select Change storage only and click Next.
6 Select Mgmt_Vol0 and click Next.
7 Review the summary page and click Finish.
8 When the migration is complete, repeat this procedure for <<vcenter_vm_name>> and
<<vcenter_psc_vm_name>>.
