To verify the status of the active database and the auto-learning configuration, use the show
port-security status command (see Example 37-10 ).
Example 37-10 Displays the Port Security Status
switch# show port-security status

The show port-security command displays the previous 100 violations by default (see Example 37-11 ).

The show port-security command issued with the last number option displays only the specified
number of entries that appear first.
Default Settings
Table 37-6 lists the default settings for all port security features in any switch.
