T o Sa v e and Recall States
When y ou use the signal generator for a sp ecic application, y ou can sa v e and then recall the
instrumen t state for future use. Y ou can store up to ten dieren t instrumen t states at a time.
1.
Select the

The softkey is underscored when it is selected.

Select the
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
SAVE STATE softkey if y ou wish to sa v e the curren t instrumen t state, or select
the
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
RECALL STATE softkey if y ou wish to recall an instrumen t state from memory .
The function app ears in in v erse video when it is selected. The data en try b o x indicates:

3. Use the n umeric k eypad to en ter the desired register lo cation.
V alid register lo cations are 0 through 9.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
ENTER softkey to terminate the en try .
If y ou enabled the SA VE ST A TE function, the instrumen t sa v es the curren t instrumen t
state in the register that y ou selected. Note that an y previously stored data in the register
is purged when new data is stored.
If y ou enabled the RECALL ST A TE function, the instrumen t recalls the instrumen t state
from the register that y ou selected. If no data has b een sa v ed to the register that y ou
sp ecify , the instrumen t preset state is recalled.
Programming Example
Use the following commands to store the instrumen t state to register 9 and then recall it from
register 9:
OUTPUT 719; "*SAV 9" Saves the curr ent instrument state to r e gister 9.
OUTPUT 719; "*RCL 9" R e c al ls the pr eviously stor e d instrument state
fr om r e gister 9.
