The \[SOURce[1]:]PULSe:PERio d" command selects the pulse rep etition in terv al (PRI). PRI
is used during in ternal pulse mo dulation or gated pulse mo dulation.
The parameters are as follows:
p erio d Sets the pulse rep etition in terv al (PRI). The allo w able range for the
parameter is 300 ns to 419 ms.
MAXimum Sets the pulse rep etition in terv al to the maxim um allo w able v alue.
MINim um Sets the pulse rep etition in terv al to the minimum allo w able v alue.
UP Increases the pulse rep etition in terv al b y the curren t pulse rep etition in terv al
incremen t v alue.
DO WN Decreases the pulse rep etition in terv al b y the curren t pulse rep etition in terv al
incremen t v alue.
DEF ault Sets the pulse rep etition in terv al to its default (preset) v alue.
If a pulse rep etition in terv al en try is made that is not within the allo w able parameter range,
an error message will b e generated and the parameter will b e set to either its upp er or low er
limit. The preset v alue for pulse rep etition in terv al is 100 ms.
The resolution for PRI parameter en tries is 25 ns; en tries with a resolution ner than 25 ns
will b e rounded to the nearest 25 ns.
Notes
1. Changing the PRI parameter automatically causes the PRF parameter set
with the \[SOURce[1]:]PULSe:FREQuency" command to c hange since these
t w o parameters are recipro cals of eac h other.
2. The pulse rep etition in terv al can b e set at an y time, but other parameters
m ust b e set b efore in ternal or gated pulse mo de is used.
