The fertiliser discs are always raised when the
machine is lifted out.
When lowering, the machine must be lowered
under pressure, until all discs have ground con-
tact. Thereafter, switch the control unit to the
fl oating position.
Adjusting the fan air fl ow
The fan air fl ow is divided to both drill systems
at the seed hose.
Due to the possible quantity and weight diff er-
ences between the placed seed and fertiliser
quantities it may be necessary to divide the fan
air fl ow diff erently - see fan speed table.
Distributor valve
The correct division of the fan air fl ow must be
tested in the fi eld under seed placement conditions.
When set correctly, no seed blockage should
occur in either of the systems and no seed or
fertiliser should be blown out of the furrows or
out of the grill.
The fertiliser placement must be
checked before starting work and,
when processing large fi elds, also in-
between.
Fertiliser equipment PPF
With the fertiliser equipment solid fertiliser can
be placed together with the seed.
The fertiliser is always placed by a single-disc
coulter in front of the packer.
The coulter discs open the seedbed and the
pneumatic system blows the fertiliser into the
ground.

The fertiliser discs are always arranged between
two seed rows.
Depth setting
For depth adjustment the bolt is used as stop
for the hydraulic cylinder.
The sticker shows the position of
bolt 1 = shallow to 7 = deep.
All bolts must be positioned in the same setting.
