Fan with PTO-shaft driven pump

Malfunction

Possible cause

Remedy

Bearing damage on fan

Normal wear

Fan did run with excessive power

Unbalance in impeller wheel

Replace bearings.

Never run the fan without connected

pneumatic hoses.

Replace the impeller wheel or clean

from dirt.

Radial seal in motor leaking

Return flow pressure higher than

2 bar

Check return flow pressure

Hydraulic oil overheating

Fan did run with excessive power

Oil filter contaminated.

Fan grill soiled

Oil cooler dirty

Pressure relief valve set too low

Reduce the load and check the oil

level, check pressure on fan
