Route cables, lines and tubes so that they will
not be damaged during operation (when turning).
Check plug connections (hydraulic, electric and
pneumatic) for cleanliness and tight fit.
Dirty connectors will contaminate the flowing
media. The connectors therefore become worn
and this results in malfunctions and failures in
the connected assembly groups.
Connect the hydraulic system
Connect the hydraulic system only after
it has been depressurized on machine
and implement side.
The hydraulic system is under high pressure.
Hydraulic oil escaping under pressure can pen-
etrate the skin and cause serious injuries. In the
event of injury, consult a doctor immediately.
The "Wing" folding hydraulics are equipped with
a pressure accumulator. Pay attention to the
safety regulations for pressure accumulators.
Plug-in couplings are colour-coded in order to
avoid wrong connections.
When operating hydraulic components,
slow down the control unit before the
machine components reach the stop
position.
Connecting the road lighting
equipment
For transportation on public roads the road light-
ing equipment must be plugged in and needs to
be in good working order.

Connect the plug of the machine lighting
equipment to the tractor.

Check lighting equipment and warning decals
for function and cleanliness.
Hitching-up the machine
No-one is allowed to be between the
tractor and the machine during hitching.
There is a danger of being injured on function-
related sharp edges and when converting the
machine.

Two-point hitching; lock the tractor link arms
against sideways movements.

Hitch the machine up to the tractor.
¾
Swinging drawbar hitching; connect the return
flow from the hydraulic cylinder of the adjust
-
able drawbar without pressure to the tractor
or to a control unit with float position.

Connect the plug for the drill control.
¾
Connect working hydraulics and fan drive
depending on equipment fitted.
¾
Connect the road lighting equipment.
¾
Connect the brake system.
¾
Release the parking brake.
¾
Raise the drill and insert the green aluminium
clips for transport lock to the piston rods of
the lift cylinders at the axle and the upper link.
¾
Fold in the machine and retract the upper link
against the aluminium clips.
¾
Lower the machine on the aluminium clips.
¾
Check the safety catches on the cultivation
tools and allow the locking pin on the seed
bar to click into place.
¾
Secure the control units.
