Hydraulic function
Tractor mounted control units must be
secured or locked when not in use or
in transport position.
People must not remain in the operat-
ing range of fold-able machine com-
ponents.
When operating hydraulic components, slow
down the control unit before the machine com-
ponents reach the limit stop.
Perform folding operations only after
the machine has been raised.
Hydraulics with DrillManager and E Manager
On machines with DrillManager the hydraulic
functions are selected in the control unit menu.
The DrillManager therefore has to be connected
to the tractor electrics at all times.
The hydraulic functions can only be selected
(see instructions on DrillManager) after the
machine data has been entered into the menu
and the hydraulic bout marker controls have
been activated.
The "Lift" function is enabled when de-energized
and disabled when energized.
The functions "Fold and Bout Markers" are
switched on with electricity and locked when
de-energized.
In case of a power failure the bout markers are
retracted when the machine is raised out of work.

Remove aluminium clips from the upper link
and open both lock valves for the upper link.

Connect the DrillManager and select hydrau-
lics "Lift" in the display. Lift the drill.

Insert the green aluminium clips for the trans-
port lock to the piston rods of the lift cylinders.
These are at the bottom of the axle and on
the upper link.
¾
Unlock the safety catch.
¾
Fold in the machine and retract the upper link
against the end stop.
¾
Lower the machine on the aluminium clips.
¾
Check the safety catches on the cultivation
tools and allow the locking pin on the seed
bar to click into place.
¾
Close the lock valves for the upper link.
¾
Secure the control units.
¾
Switch of the DrillManager before travelling
on roads.
