With the solid
fertilizer
equipment the
fertilizer
can be placed together with the seed.
The fan directs the
fertilizer
through the distribu-
tor to the coulter discs and into the ground.

The coulter discs for dry
fertilizer
are
laterally
offset to the seed placement by 6
cm. They
are resiliently mounted and are able
to escape upwards when meeting stones.
Depth setting
WARNING
Lowering machine parts can cause crushing
accidents etc.! Support a lifted machine with ap-
propriate means. Do not work under a properly
secured machine.
The
fertilizer
placement can be adjusted in three
stages in height or below the seed placement.
From the factory the depth is set 33 mm
below the seed placement.

Adjust all coulters to the same depth.
Adjustment between 0 and

Secure the machine against rolling, lift it and
support it with proper jacks.

Loosen the two upper screws.
Back the bottom screw approx.
3/8 inch
out
and screw into hole (a) or (b) together
with
the bushing.

Tighten all screws.
The plate on screw (d) must rest correctly
against the washer, see illustration.
Adjustment to a depth of
2-1/8 in.

Secure the machine against rolling, lift it and
support it with proper jacks.
¾
Use an appropriate support (wooden block
or similar)
¾
Loosen all screws. Hold he
fertilizer
coulter.
¾
Move the
fertilizer
coulter, screw the screws
each in one of the bottom holes and tighten
them, see illustration.
¾
Remove the jacks again.
¾
To reset to 0 or
1-1/4 inch
loosen the screws
and fasten the coulter in the top holes.
