Pneumatic system
The pneumatic system in the machine consists
of a

fertilizer
.

pneumatics for the Seed on Demand system.
¾
vacuum system with fan for single grain me-
tering
The
fertilizer
system and the Seed-On-Demand
system are separated and each system is sup-
plied with air by its own fan.
The vacuum for the single grain metering control
is generated by two fans.
Solid
fertilizer
facility
The solid
fertilizer
facility enables
simultaneous
fertilizer
placement while drilling.
The system consists of:

Pressure hopper with 7000 l capacity
•
Metering unit with Venturi area
•
Fan
•
Distributor tower with hoses
•
fertilizer
coulters on the drill units
The fan is directly driven by the tractor hydraulics.
Hopper
The hopper has been designed as
pressurized hopper. This enables higher
fertilizer
quantities than an open hopper.
Both hopper and attachment parts must be
absolutely leak tight during use. Leaks lead to
metering errors.
Opening and closing the lid:
WARNING
Danger of crushing when opening or closing
the hopper lids.
Do not let your hand or fingers get caught be

tween lid and hopper.

For easier opening of the hopper, a lever can
be attached to the handle.
¾
Store the lever between the hopper lids.
