NOTE

When operating the hydraulic coulter pressure adjustment the seed quantity can be
increased by a user-defined percentage.

Ø

Follow the operating instructions for the E-Manager.

11.11 Brake system

DANGER

Uncontrolled rolling of the machine may cause severe injuries by
crushing or rolling over.

Ø

Park the machine only on level ground with sufficient load bearing capacity.

Ø

Towed machine: Engage the tractor brake before releasing the brake.

Ø

Secure the machine with wheel chocks against rolling away before unhitch-
ing.

11.11.1 Pneumatic brake

The pneumatic brake is a dual-line single-circuit braking system with pressure regu-
lator.

Connecting the brake

The tractor must always be secured with the parking brake when connecting.

1.

First

 connect the coupling head “Brake” (yellow).

2.

Then

 connect the coupling head "Provision" (red).

3.

Release the parking brake.

Unhitch the brake

The tractor must be secured with the parking brake when unhitching.

1.

Apply the parking brake.

2.

First

 disconnect the coupling head "Provision" (red).

3.

Then

 disconnect the coupling head "Brake" (yellow).

Brake valve

The brake force can be set on the brake valve unit depending on the load of the
hopper. 
The basic setting depends on the equipment or curb weight of the machine and has
been preset.
