7.2.1 Connecting

The machine must be properly connected to a tractor before any machine move-
ments.

DANGER

Serious accidents from loss of stability!

Ø

Park the machine only on a level and firm ground.

Ø

Secure the machine against rolling away before unhitching.

DANGER

Machines with pneumatic brake:

Ø

Do not move the machine without a brake line connected.

Ø

When connecting always connect the

yellow

connection (brake line) first.

NOTE

Ø

Check all plug-and-socket connections (hydraulic, electric and pneumatic) for
cleanliness and firm seating.
Dirty connectors will contaminate the flowing media. The connectors there-
fore become worn and this results in malfunctions and failures in the connec-
ted assembly groups.

Ø

Back the tractor up to the machine. Connect hydraulic lines, brake lines and
road lighting equipment.

Ø

With swinging drawbar hitching open the lock valve on the drawbar and ad-
apt the height of the drawbar. See

Adapting the drawbar

Ø

Coupling the machine With tractor link arm hitching lock the two-point of the
tractor sideways.

Ø

Slightly lift the machine and fold in the support.

Ø

Release the parking brake (option).
