The seed is placed with the coulters:
• The tine (3) cuts through the seedbed and exposes the seed horizon.
• The seed is placed in the furrow via the seed pipe (4).
• The pressure wheel (5) guides the coulter in depth and ensures closing of the
soil.
The coulter body is mounted in maintenance-free rubber bearings (2). It links the
coulters and the pressure wheel and transfers the coulter pressure.
6.3.2 Settings on the coulter

Pressure wheels The pressure wheels guide the depth of the seed placement, cover the seed with
fine soil and press it down on the seed.
The height of the pressure wheels can be set to two positions.
1. Loosen the screw (A).
2. Remove the screw from the lower position.
3. Fasten the pressure wheel again in the front position.
4. Tighten the screws with 100 Nm.

Set the press roller to the upper position for deep seed placement. This aligns
the coulter horizontally.
Seed pipe The height of the seed pipe is adjustable.
5. Loosen the screws (B).
6. Push the seed pipe to the desired position.
7. Fasten the screws (B) again.
6.3.3 Press roller scraper
The scraper can be re-adjusted if worn.
1. Loosen screw (C) to readjust.
2. Adjust the scraper via the slot.
