Notes on cleaning
Mechanical seals are very sensitive against the precipitation of water and the sub-
sequent, long downtimes.
In case of rust the mechanical seals will stick, are damaged and the bearing will no
longer be leak tight.
Ø Do not clean bearings with high pressure cleaning equipment.
Ø
Spray the bearings with anti-seizing or corrosion protection agent.
Ø
Before restarting operation turn the bearings by hand and check for free run-
ning.
6.8 Setting the bout markers
WARNING
Risk of injury from the bout marker.
Ø
Order persons to leave the slewing range of the bout markers.
When installing for the first time, the bout markers must be set to working width.
Marking takes place in relation to the centre of the tractor.
The adjustment length of the bout markers (measured from the middle of the outer-
most row) results from half the working width plus half the row distance.
