61: Dual Pitch
The Dual Pitch function is designed for use with mechanical
mix helicopters (non-CCPM) where two servos are used
to control the pitch function. Note that this function is only
available if the 1 servo NORM is selected in swashplate type
and if the PIT function is assigned to the GEAR, AUX2 or AUX3
channels in device select. This function is primarily designed
for large industrial use helicopters that require powerful pitch
control. The Dual Pitch function features a trace rate that allows
the servo’s output positions to be accurately matched at 7
points throughout the stroke.
Note
: This function is only available if the 1 servo NORM
is selected in swashplate type and if the PIT function is
assigned to the GEAR, AUX2 or AUX3 channels in Device
Select.
1. To access and activate the Dual Pitch function, highlight
and select Dual PIT. in the FUNC.LIST to obtain the Dual
Pitch display.
2. The display shows the channel that the pitch channel is
mixed to and the points that can be adjusted to match the
servo output of both servos.
3. To change the output of a specific point highlight the
desired point using the selector and press the selector to
access that value.
4. Rotate the roller to adjust the value of the selected point.
