Temperature calibration
If the deviation of temperature reading from the calibrated thermometer is over 0.2
°
C calibrate
the temperature.
Note
z
Check the temperature of the currently running sample and ensure the sensor is able to
accurately read the water temperature.
z
When the hold mode is activated, the transmission output will be equal to the output value
specified in the setup menu.
Refer to “ Transmission output hold (current hold) setting for transmission output 1.A ” (page
34).
Refer to “ Transmission output hold (current hold) setting for transmission output 2 ” (page 35)
1.
Switch to the meas mode by performing the operation described in “ Calibration ”
(page 53), and to the zero solution calibration screen.
2.
Press
T
to display “t” on the sub display, and then press ENT.
The temperature cal mode is activated and the sub display starts blinking.
3.
Press
S
/
T
so that the value displayed on the main display is adjusted to the water
temperature.
4.
Press ENT.
The temperature calibration coefficient will be updated.
This completes the temperature calibration. The display will return to the cal menu.
Tip
z
If you want to cancel the calibration currently in progress, press ESC.
The screen will return to the cal menu without updating the calibration data.
z
If you want to set other items of “Calibration” continuously, press
S
/
T
to select the setting item.
z
To return to the measurement status, hold down HOLD or ESC.
The HOLD mode will be cancelled and the system will return to the meas mode.
