Q
Cleaning procedure for other electrodes
wipe the surface of the anode and cathode electrode with absorbent cotton wetted by alcohol.
Note
The silver chloride will deposit on the surface of the anode electrode according to the progress of
measurement. Too thick silver chloride layer will reduce the contact area of the silver and the sample
water, then the electrons which cover the cathode reaction will not be sufficient. Rub the surface of
the silver chloride on the anode electrode with sandpaper.
Never rub the silver chloride on the reference electrode which is necessary for the measurement.

Cleaning/replacing the bead filter A, bead filter and ceramic beads
Replace the ceramic beads with new ones periodically (approximately once every 6 months).
1.
Disconnect the connector cable to stop the rotation of the cathode electrode.
2.
Close the valve to stop the sample supply.
3.
Remove the nut, and then remove the detector.
4.
Remove the bead cell from the measuring cell, and then rinsing the bead filter A
and bead filter, which has been rolled up into a ring shape.
Attach new filters and the ceramic beads if the dirt can not be removed by washing.
5.
Reattach the bead cell in the reverse order of removing it.
Note
z
Be sure not to spill any of the ceramic beads when putting them into the ceramic cells. If the
amount of ceramic beads is insufficient, cleaning cannot be performed efficiently.
Do not add new beads to old beads. Otherwise, cleaning cannot be performed efficiently.
z
When reattaching the bead cell, confirm that there are no ceramic beads inside the measuring
cell and around the O-ring, and then push it into the measuring cell.
