Contact output R1 to R3
z
The contact capacity is below 250 V AC 3 A or 30 V DC 3 A (resistance load). R3 is below
30 V DC 1 A (resistance load).
z
The terminal screw for the contact output is of the M4 type.
z
The applicable electric wire is of 0.75 mm
2
to 5.5 mm
2
(AWG18 to AWG10).
z
If a load generates a reaction noise use a varistor or a noise killer to protect a contact.
z
The locations of NO and NC are reversed only for the FAIL output.
When the converter is normal (not malfunctioning), the C-NOF contact is open and the C-
NCF contact is short-circuited. When the power supply is disconnected, the C-NOF
contact is short-circuited.
Connect the contact output lines as illustrated below.
J
Control output for zero calibration (AC voltage output)
The AC voltage is output for controlling a solenoid valve for zero calibration. The solenoid
valve should be normally (powered off) closed and opened while energized. The solenoid
valve will be opened to pass the sample through the activated carbon filter for zeroing to the
measuring cell (Refer to “ Flow ” (page 14)).
Note
The voltage of the output power to the solenoid valve is the same voltage supplied to the converter.
Confirm that the output voltage is fitting to the rating of the solenoid valve.
WARNING
To connect any load exceeding the contact capacity or any induction load (e.g., motor, pump), be sure
to use a power relay.
