EK280

Application Manual

−

Screw the external antenna onto the

antenna adapter cable.

−

Pull the external antenna cable back

outwards as far as possible, until the

antenna adapter cable is lying against

the inside of the cable gland.

−

Now tighten the cable gland nut.

−

Reconnect the modem battery or the connection of the modem supply of the internal power supply

on X3, "Battery", of the modem board.

−

Close the housing cover and re tighten the screws.

−

Finally, replace the cover strips on the housing.

CAUTION!

Damage to property caused by improper device closure!

If the device is not properly closed cables can get pinched and cause damage.

Therefore:
– Ensure correct positioning of the cable guide when closing.

−

When using the internal power pack, switch on the external power supply again.

−

To check the function, you may now open a time window for testing and check the GSM signal

quality on the EK280 display (


