FUEL

SYSTEM

Apply vacuum to the vacuum port.

The vacuum should maintained.
Air should not flow through the valve

ports

when the

vacuum

applied, and should flow when the vacu-

not applied.

THROTTLE VALVE

Remove the three screws, clamp and top cover.
Remove the O-ring from the body groove.

Remove the valve arm set screw and washer.

Pull the link arm shaft out of the carburetor body

while holding the throttle linkage.

Remove the return spring and the thrust washer.

Remove the throttle valve assembly from the carbu-
retor body, being careful not to damage the jet nee-
dle.

Remove the

two

screws and valve arm.

Remove the jet needle.
