ALTERNATOR STATOR

LEFT CRANKCASE COVER REMOVAL

Remove the four bolts and the starter idle gear cover.

Remove the gasket and dowel pins.

Remove the spacer, starter idle gear and shaft from

the left crankcase cover.

Remove the

fender (page 2-2).

Disconnect the alternator connectors.

Remove the pinch bolt and gearshift pedal from the

gearshift spindle.
