NOTE:

If the vehicle is used in dusty areas, sand or snow,

Remove the

fender assembly

Release the six retaining clips from the air cleaner
housing covet and remove the cover.

Loosen the air cleaner element band screw.

Remove the air cleaner element assembly from the
housing.

Remove the element band and the element core from

the air cleaner element.

Wash the element in non-flammable or high flash

point solvent such

as kerosene.

Squeeze out the solvent thoroughly, and allow the
element to
