Remove the four cap nuts and washers, being careful
not t o drop them into the crankcase.

Do not strike the

Remove the cylinder head.

Remove the gasket and dowel pins.

Remove the three bolts and the carburetor insulator

from the cylinder head.

Remove the O-ring from the carburetor insulator.

Remove the valve spring cotters
