Cleaning and disinfection

CLEANING THE MASK

For hygienic reasons, clean the mask every day. To do this, proceed as
follows:

1. Disconnect the mask from the tube system.
2. Clean the mask with mild soapy water. Do not use any other

agents!

3. Rinse the mask thoroughly with clear water.
4. Let the mask dry completely in the air.

Heavily worn or damaged masks must not be reused and should be
disposed of correctly.

CLEANING THE TUBE SYSTEM

A heavily worn or damaged tube system should be disposed of cor-

rectly and replaced by a new one.

VALVE TUBE SYSTEM

The tube system supplied is intended for use on one patient only. It must

not be cleaned and used for other patients. When using other tube sys-

tems, the manufacturer’s instructions must be observed.
