Neutral elevator

Up elevator

Down elevator

The servo horn
should move towards
the front of the
plane.

To lose altitude, or
make the plane go
down, move the
elevator stick
forward.

The elevator will
move up as shown
on the control
surface gauge.

The servo horn
should move towards
the rear.

To gain altitude, or
make the plane rise,
move the elevator
stick back.

The elevator should
be in the neutral
position.

The elevator servo
horn should be 90Þ
to the servo.

Cut-out the control
surface gauge and
glue it to a piece of
scrap cardboard. For
level flight, center the
elevator stick.
