Diaphragm pump
The pump is able for suction and may be located above the water source. The maximum
suction lift is approximately two meters. If no other source is available, even seawater can
be used if the whole system is rinsed thoroughly afterwards.
11.6.1 Oil level
On delivery, the pump is filled with the correct amount of oil. Check the filling level and
condition of the oil regularly at the transparent reservoir on top of the pump.
In such cases, most likely one ore more pump membranes are defective. Further use leads
to irreparable damage. The Pump must be repaired by a qualified specialist. Drain the oil
before removal.
ATTENTION
Seawater strongly expedites corrosion, dried salt crystals
harm rubber, paint and all surfaces !
Use it only when no other water supply is available. Wash
and rinse the entire system (including tank) very thoroughly
afterwards !
ATTENTION
First oil change after no more then 50 operating hours, but
sooner if (condensation) water is visible.
Every further oil change after 500 hours, but sooner if
(condensation) water is visible.

…the oil in the reservoir is discolored milky white (oil is mixed with water)
…oil leaks to the pump outlet (oil level drops noticeable)
…the filling cap pops off (steam expansion, caused by water in the oil)
