Recording

Recording with Backlight Corrected

If subject is darker than background, use the backlight
correction function.

1

Set the CAM/OFF/PLAY switch to CAM.

Hold down the red button at the center of the switch and set the
switch to CAM.  The image from the lens will appear on the
LCD monitor, and the MP-EG10W will enter the record pause
mode (“PAUSE” will appear).

Set to the backlight correction mode.

Press the B.LIGHT/DIV.DEL button. 
“

” will appear on the screen and backlight will be corrected.

Pressing B.LIGHT/DIV.DEL or turning power off will release
backlight correction.

Switch the record mode indicator.

Press the REC MODE/THUMBNAIL button to select moving
pictures, still pictures, consecutive still pictures, or still picture
with audio. For subsequent procedure, see instructions shown in
each record mode (on pages 31-36).
