Recording
Macro Recording
You can focus on a subject as near as 8 cm and record it.

Set the CAM/OFF/PLAY switch to CAM.
Hold down the red button at the center of the switch and set the
switch to CAM. The image from the lens will appear on the
LCD monitor, and the MP-EG10W will enter the record pause
mode (“PAUSE” will appear).

Set to the macro recording mode.
Press the MACRO/SHIFT button.
will appear under the zoom bar on the left of display, and the
MP-EG10W will switch to macro recording.
Pressing MACRO/SHIFT again will release macro recording.
* Be sure to press the MACRO/SHIFT button to release macro
recording: Pressing the ZOOM/VOL button will not release
macro recording.
* The zoom bar will not disappear until macro recording is
released.

Bring a subject into focus.
Observing the LCD screen, adjust the distance to the subject so
that it is seen clearest.

Switch the record mode indicator.
Press the REC MODE/THUMBNAIL button to select moving
pictures, still pictures, consecutive still pictures, or still picture
with audio. For subsequent procedure, see instructions shown in
each record mode (on pages 31-36).
