9.2.1 New Logger Registration
9.2 Monitoring Settings
Before starting logger monitoring, register a logger to monitor on the logger-
monitoring program and complete necessary settings (including IP address).
Click the <
Register
> button to display the "
Register
" dialog box. Complete
the settings of the logger to monitor as shown below.
Connection
IP Address
Type in the IP address of the logger to monitor.
Port
Set the port number used for communications with the logger. If the port
number setting has not been edited on the logger, leave the "
8800
" default
setting. For details, see 2.4, "LAN Settings."
Timeout
Set the timeout limit to use during communications with the logger. If the
logger doesn't respond within the seconds set here, the line will be
disconnected.
Start watching at starting up
Selecting this option will automatically begin monitoring when the logger-
monitoring program starts up.
Waveform receiving settings
Set at every reception/Set in advance
When [
Set at every reception
] is selected, you will be prompted for "
Save
Folder
" location and "
Filename
" every time you receive waveform data.
When [
Set in advance
] is selected, waveform data will be received according
to the "
Save Folder
" and "
Filename
" settings made beforehand.
Save Folder
This setting is available when selecting [
Set in advance
]. Type in the name
of the folder to save received waveform files. Clicking the "
>>
" button
displays the "
Browse
" dialog box so that you can select a folder there.
