3. Customizing your Notetaker
When you receive your notetaker, one of the first things you will want to do is to
configure it to act the way you want it to. The "Settings" menu allows you to
configure and customize your notetaker to meet your specific needs and
preferences.
To open the "Settings" menu, press "F1" to bring up the main menu. Press
"Space-4" until you reach "Settings" and press "Enter". Or, just press S from the
main menu to quickly jump to and open the "Settings" menu.
The "Settings" menu contains the following items: "Set Time and Date", "Setup
Internet", "Bluetooth Manager", "Backup/Restore Polaris MINI Settings", "Change
Device Name", "Quick Start Guide", "Password Protection", "Initialize Polaris MINI
Options", “Voice options”, "Polaris MINI Global Options", “Android Backup &
Reset” and “Android System Settings”. The following sections discuss each of
these items in detail.
3.1 Set Time and Date
To set the Polaris MINI's internal clock, press "Enter" on "Set Time and Date" in
the "Settings" menu. Or press T to open the "set time and date" dialog from the
menu. You can launch the "Set Time and Date" dialog from anywhere on the unit
by pressing "F3-T".
