Transport, maintenance and cleaning

14.1 Transport

S

Transport and store the weighing terminal only in the
box provided, with the molded foam packing. The de
vice must not be exposed to any shock or vibration.

S

Storage temperature -25°C to +70°C at 95% relative
humidity, non-condensing.

14.2 Maintenance

WARNING

Cut the power to the terminal before carrying out mainte
nance on it!

The device is largely maintenance-free. We recommend
you carry out a visual inspection at appropriate regular
intervals (such as twice a year), depending on usage.
Particularly check all the connected cables for damage,
and makes sure all plugs on peripheral devices are se
curely attached.

Maintenance of connected scale base units is necessary
at intervals appropriate to usage. These units must be
checked for foreign bodies, metal filings etc., so as to
prevent weights being corrupted. Calibration with legally
verified weights at regular intervals is recommended.

Operational checking can be carried out by way of the

ServiceMode

menu.
