10.3 Weight Storage

The legal-for-trade weights memory has capacity for approximately 120,000
entries. After each completed weighing cycle, a data set is stored in the weight
memory together with the date and ident number.

The sequence of processing is: Operator control steps / Data input, entry in
legal-for-trade weights memory, print, data transfer.
The memory contains the data sets, each with the date of weighing, sequential
ident number, and gross and net weight. The sequential ident number is reset
to 1 when the date changes. To be able to identify a weighing operation, this
ident number must be either printed on the weighing log or recorded on com­
puter and saved along with the weighing data.
When data is transferred to a computer and processed on it, the legal-for-trade
weights memory can be used as an alternative to the printer. The entries can
only be viewed. The stored values cannot be changed or deleted.
