5.3 Zero Calibration
5.3.1
Function Introduction
It is necessary to perform zero calibration for the instrument before use it. The zero level
of the circuit within power analyzer may be slightly modified due to environment and
other change. The zero calibration operation can eliminate the effect of current zero
level and therefore improves the measurement correctness of instrument. The zero
calibration mode contains auto zero calibration and manual zero calibration.
Users may set auto-zeroing in the measurement menu shown in Figure 5-2. If the
auto-zeroing is enabled, the instrument automatically performs zero calibration
operation after the measurement range and input filter are modified; however, if same
measurement range and input filter are used during a long time, the zero level of power
analyzer may be modified due to the change of ambient environment, in this case, a
manual zero calibration should be performed, and the operation is performed once
every time, as shown in Figure 5-2.
