Chapter 9: Chute Controller

Attaching the Cable to the Turnbuckle

Before You Begin

WARNING

Disconnect and lock-out power before performing installation.

Perform limit switch testing before connecting the cables to the turnbuckle.

1. Remove the front chain guard (A) from the rear chain guard (B).

2. Route the cable from the inside of the bin, through the sidewall sheet, over the chute pulley at the

bin eave, and down to the chain turnbuckle that is connected to the chute controller.

3. Set the turnbuckle (D) to the halfway point to allow for adjustment in both directions.

4. Bolt the turnbuckle to the chain (C).

5. Attach the cable (F) to the turnbuckle using two cable clamps (E).
