Chapter 7: Door Assembly

11.Install the top inner door hinges to the inner door hinge housings on the inner frame weldment and

apply 1/2 x 1 in. seal strip to seal around the inner panels.

NOTE:

Make sure that the inner top door opens smoothly and the latch bars lock completely.

12.Follow steps 10 and 11 to install the inner bottom door to the inner frame weldment.

13.Install the outer door attachment angles to the outer frame weldment with bolts. Use flat washers

(S-845) on all slotted connections.

14.Attach the outer door hinge weldment (K) and latch plates (C) to the outer door attachment angles

with bolts.

NOTE:

Make sure the bolt head are on the inside for all outer cover attachment angle connections.
Use flat washers (S-845) on all slotted connections.
