3 | How to set the soft water hardness (only in the operating mode)

Set the adjusting cap to a mid-scale value (fig. E-1 pos. 4).

Note

: The soft water hardness should be set while the withdrawal fit-

ting is completely open (e.g. tap at sink).



Set the blending valve to a mean scale value. The figures on the

adjusting cap are only reminders and do not indicate any soft water
hardness.



Open the nearest tap and determine the soft water hardness.



Soft water hardness too low: Turn blending valve further to the left.



Soft water hardness too high: Turn the blending valve further to the

right.



Repeat this process until the desired soft water hardness is

reached.



Slightly tighten the fixing screw at the adjusting cap.



Note:

With regard to the softening of drinking water, the stipulations of

the German Drinking Water Act are mandatory. Max. sodium concen-
tration 200 mg/l.
