Instructions
During use, the total capacity of the indoor units running simultaneously shall not
be higher than the capacity of outdoor unit. Otherwise, it may result in inadequate
cooling (heating) volume from each indoor unit.
One air switch (or fuse) shall be installed for each indoor unit according to the
capacity of the air-conditioner unit, and one mains air switch shall be installed for
all indoor units. The air switch for each indoor unit is used for protection against
short circuiting and abnormal overloading, and it is usually closed. The mains air
switch is used for supplying or disconnecting the electric power to all indoor units.
To ensure smooth startup of the air-conditioner unit, the mains switch shall be
preset to “ON” status 8 hours before start of the operation.
After one indoor unit receives the shutdown signal, it is normal that the fan of this
indoor unit will continue to work for 20 ~ 70 seconds to utilize the residual cool or
residual heats in the heat exchanger. This is also to prepare for the next use.
When the run mode selected for indoor unit is in conflict with the run mode of
outdoor unit, the fault indicator on indoor unit will flash or the wired controller will
display the operation conflict after 5 seconds. The indoor unit will be stopped. In
this case, you may switch the indoor unit to a run mode that does not conflict with
the run mode of outdoor unit, so that it will be resumed to normal. The cooling
mode does not conflict with the dehumidifying mode. The fan mode does not
conflict with any other modes.
The communication cables and power cables shall not be wired together. They
must be routed separately at a minimum spacing over 20cm; otherwise, it might
result in communication malfunction.
The commissioning and repair people shall note that:
During commissioning or repair, the oil heating strip of the compressor must be
continuously energized for 8 hours or longer before the compressor is started!
Once the system compressor is started, make sure that the air conditioner unit
must run continuously for 30 minutes or longer; otherwise the compressor might be
damaged!
