Notes on Dial Switch
● Setting the address code and capacity code of the indoor unit
Assign the address of indoor units according to the planning of air conditioner system. The address of
indoor unit shall not be repeated in the same system.
On the main board of indoor unit, 8-bit DIP switch (S1) is used to assign the address and capacity of
this indoor unit. The 5~8 bit used for setting the capacity of indoor unit has been set in factory. Before
installation, it is only needed to adjust the bit 1~4 used for assigning the address of indoor unit.
On the main board of wired controlled, 4-bit DIP switch is used to assign the address of wired controller.
The address of wired controller must be identical to the address of corresponding indoor unit.
If putting the dial switch toward silk printed “ON” side, it represents “ON”. If away from “ON” side, it
represents “OFF”.
As shown below, 1, 3 and 4 refers to OFF and 2 refers to ON.

On the main board of indoor unit, two 4-bit DIP switches are used to assign the address and capacity of
this indoor unit. One 4-bit DIP switch (lower capacity) used for setting the capacity of indoor unit has
been set in the factory. Before installation, it is only needed to adjust another 4-bit DIP switch (lower
address) for assigning the address of indoor unit.
The address settings on indoor unit and wire controller are as follows:
