Refrigerant Charging and Test Run
● Charge of Refrigerant
1. The outdoor unit has been charged with refrigerant in factory. Additional refrigerant shall be charged to
the site connection pipe.
2. Check the liquid valve (Φ9.52) and gas valve (Φ19.05) on outdoor unit if they are fully closed.
3. Check the liquid valve to Hydro-box (Φ12.7) and gas valve to Hydro-box (Φ15.9) on outdoor unit if they
are fully closed.
4. As shown below, use vacuum pump to expel the air out of the indoor unit and connection pipe via the
valve where the outdoor unit is connected to indoor unit.

5. As shown below, use vacuum pump to expel the air out of the indoor unit and connection pipe via the
valve where the outdoor unit is connected to Hydro-box.

6. When the compressor is not working, charge specified quantity of R410A refrigerant into the machine via
the charge port on the valve of outdoor liquid pipe (Do not charge from gas pipe side).
