Add Function Window
Add Function Window
You will do all your button programming in the Add Function button assign-
ment window. You can access the Add Function window in several ways:
•
Clicking the Add button in the Function List window opens a generic Add
Function window—not tied to any specific button on Firebird 2.
•
Clicking the Edit button in the Function List window opens an edit window
for the function currently selected in the list.
•
Clicking on a button on the Control Console screen (or right-clicking on the
button and choosing Edit... from the pop-up menu) opens a button assign-
ment window like the Add Function window, but specifically for that
button.
•
Selecting a button from the Base or Stick menu also opens a button
assignment window for that specific button.
The Add Function window allows you to define keyboard or joystick button
commands (“functions”).
Button Press:
This section of the Add Function window allows you to enter
the key or keys that you want to be executed when you press a button on
Firebird 2.
