Screen Name Screen Description
Backwash Flow PID These screens display the status of the membrane backwash flow PID loop.
The user can override the setpoint and mode of the PID loop. The user can
also change the loop tuning and other parameters.
Membrane Pressure Setup This screen displays the pressure setpoints for the membrane system. The user
can change these setpoints.
CEB Chemical Feed Setup This screen displays the setpoints applicable to the membrane CEB feed
systems. The user has ability to change these setpoints.
Backwash Skid Setup This screen displays the setpoints applicable to the backwash skid. The user
has ability to change these setpoints.
Membrane Control This screen provides control to initiate any of the membrane modes, including
placing the membrane online or offline.
Flow Totalizers This screen displays the flow totals for each flow meter. Daily totals are
displayed for the current day and up to the last 7 days.
Motor Run Times This screen contains a pair of hour meters for each motor: one resettable and
one non-resettable.
Alarm Summary This screen displays the current active alarms for the membrane system.
Alarms displayed on this screen require an Alarm Reset, after the alarm
condition has been corrected.
Access to the Alarm Reset screen is provided on this screen.
Alarm Reset This screen provides access for the user to reset alarms; after the alarm
condition has been corrected.
Alarm History This screen displays the recent history of alarm events for the membrane
system. Alarms remain on this list until cleared by a power cycle or bumped
from the list by a new alarm.
Restore Defaults These screens allow the user to restore default values to the three different
levels: Engineer, Supervisor, and Operator. The default values are shown in
the appendix.
Operator Setup This screen allows the user to set the real time clock in the PLC. There is also
access to restore the system defaults.
System Setup These screens contain factory-specified setup information about the system.
This includes which valves and instruments exist, as well as the analog scaling
parameters for all instrumentation.
Trend This screen shows a short term trend of several system variables.
Legend This pop-up window displays the legend for the graphic symbols used on the
System Status screens.
Valve and Pump Chart These pop-up windows contain the valve and pump charts for the filtration
sequence, CEB modes, and integrity test.
The entry and control functions on these screens are security protected. Normal control
functions are set at the Operator level, while advanced control functions (e.g., PID mode) are set
at the Supervisor level. See the Appendix for setpoints and the required access level.
