Calibrating the Joystick and Throttle
For optimal performance, the joystick and throttle should be calibrated once a month to ensure
that the flight experience is normal and the weapons fire accurately. If the software detects a
calibration problem at boot it will enter the calibration screen automatically, but it will not detect
the gradual slip in calibration over time.
Follow the steps below to calibrate the controls:
1.
To enter the Calibrate Stick Test screen, select
System Tests Menu
from the Operator Main
Menu, and then select
Calibrate Flightstick
from the System Test Menu.
2.
Once in the Calibrate Stick Test menu, highlight
Start Calibration
and press the Operator
SERV/SEL
button to start the calibration process.
