1. Switch on the heating element (set the toggle switch to ON).
2. Wait until the measured temperature (shown at right side) is
stable near to the reference set point (220 °C, shown at left side).
3. Measure the actual temperature directly on the heater plate
after minimum 10 minutes with a calibrated temperature control
device. Measure min. on 4 different points on each side and
calculate the average temperature.
4. Adjust the Offset: if the real average temperature measured on
the heater plate is lower than the indicated temperature on
display, then decrease the offset by the difference. If the real
average temperature measured on the heater plate is higher
than the indicated temperature on display, then increase the
offset by the difference. For example measured average
temperature on plate is 210 °C (set point is 220 °C) set the offset
at -10 °C. Insert first the number (in this example”10”) and then
the prefix (in this example “-“), the value is saved by pressing the
ENT button.
5. Check again the average heater plate temperature (steps 2-3): if
necessary, repeat step 4 for finer adjustment.
To exit from the menu, first switch off the heating element by pressing
again the toggle switch.
Go back by pushing the button ◄.
The heating element temperature should be checked regularly
according to the country-specific guidelines!
