Installing hood supports

Mount the hood supports (1) on the runner in the front groove with the M5 x 14
threaded rod.

Final work
1. You may need to cut out notches in the hood for the locking device (optional) (see
drawing 70484-2-0572).
2. Check position of the modules with the drawing and check tightening torques.
3. Set the locking device guide (1). The opening for the toothed belt should be set as
narrow as possible without touching the tooth.
4. Conduct an operating test in the workshop as described in Chapter 3.25.
5. Apply adhesive label:
– Information plate (enter date of manufacture)
– TÜV adhesive label
– "Ü" symbol (with SL-FR 2M)
6. Charge battery completely.
For this purpose, the drive must be connected to the mains network and switched
on for at least 15 hours.
Parts or remaining modules not installed will be used during final installation to the
building:
•
Short and long driver*) for door leaf installation
•
Accessories for hood earth
•
Complete hood stay cable, if not already installed
•
Securing bag for mounting
