1.Recharge system diagram
(a) Use Multimeter check resistance of 2 different yellow wires at a time from 3 different phases.

), these 3 resistances need to be the same, if there is resistance shows different
value, it means the generator is NG, the charging is not enough.

(b) There are 2 R/W wire on the VOL REGULATOR, 1 is for charging, the other is acting like a
“standard voltage” of the VOL REGULATOR, which helps to adjust the charging voltage and
current.
(c) Measurement:
1. Before engine starts, the voltage need to be 13 V or above; after engine starts, the voltage
need to be 14V or above. If the voltage stays in 13V or just increase insignificantly, then
it means the charging in not enough.
2. Charging Current Check (A):
(1)When the battery voltage is 13V or above: Charging current: below 1(A)
(2)The battery voltage lower, the charging current will be bigger.
(3)After engine starts, if the charging current too big, please check the VOL REGULATOR
(4)After engine starts, if the charging current too low, please check the VOL REGULATOR
