How to Adjust the Charge
Pressure Relief Valve
1 Connect a 0 to 600 psi / 0 to 50 bar pressure
gauge to the test port on the drive pump.
2 Hold the charge pressure relief valve and
remove the cap (item AH).
3 Turn the internal hex socket clockwise fully until
it stops. Install the cap.
4 Start the engine and move and hold the
function enable/rpm select toggle switch to
the high rpm (rabbit symbol) position. Note the
reading on the pressure gauge
.
5 Turn the engine off.
6 Remove the pressure gauge from the drive
pump. Connect the gauge to the test port
located on the traction manifold..
7 Hold the charge pressure relief valve and
remove the cap (item AH).
8 Start the engine and move and hold the
function enable/rpm select toggle switch to the
high rpm (rabbit symbol) position.
9 Adjust the internal hex socket until the pressure
reading on the gauge is 40 psi / 2.8 bar less
than the pressure reading on the pump.
Turn it clockwise to increase the pressure or
counterclockwise to decrease the pressure.
Install the valve cap
10 Turn the engine off and remove the pressure
gauge.
